My Ex has a charge on my property and I have sold my house and am ready to move.
He says he wants 30,000 and I only ever agreed to 15,000. He has wrote to my solicitor requesting 30,000 from me. Where do I stand? .... what do I do now??

get in touch with a solicitor i should think
What does the charge say? Does it specify an amount? If not why was it done without one? You presumably used a solicitor when the charge was put on, and they should be able to advise you.
