Ex-wife (Kate) entered her name under the Matrimonial Home Rights during a divorce procceding. The marriage has been dissolved and I have contacted the land registry to take Kate's name off supported by a copy of the decree absolute of the marriage.
A court has grated an order for the property to be sold and the proceeds split 50:50 but I am in need of cash. Can I register a charge on the property prior to the sale?
