my husband was paid of via taxt message late at night with no reasons, is this right even though he is self employed, also his ex boss is now not giving him his cis25 vouchers claiming he now ows money for mistakes is this fair/legal???

As a self employed person I'm afraid non of the rules and laws governing an employer/employee relationship apply. You husband is contracted by the company he does work for to provide services. The company can dispense with his services at any time. He would have to take the company to court to get any money/vouchers he was owed if he couldn't reach any agreement with the Co.
