Anyway pepes will post my last post to WBM later this morning
Ok ummm you take it as read
I'm really not sure what the problem is here, the guidelines at the top of serious topics are quite clear.

Often ignored but clear enough - we all err and we all get answers removed, there's no need to get so animated about it.

It is 2am.
it's late, I'm off to bed myself shortly. Sorry I sounded as if I was getting at you; it was intended as serious advice for the OP.
ummm yes but you are still awake lol
You need to consult your legal team re outcome. I do not think you are giving the whole story here, I am sorry but I dont see how throwing an intact plate at someone could cause an injury needing 26 stitches

I have read most of your comments yes she is scarred for life I threw the plate at the wall bounced of and hit her I do feel horrendous about it
The first few answers telling you to consult your legal team are about all we can tell you really.
I've just posted on your other thread which, annoyingly, has been removed. So let's try again:

You've already been provided with the sentencing guidelines which the judge is obliged to refer to. (They're on pages 7 to 10 here if you need another link: https://www.sentencingcouncil.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/Assault_definitive_guideline_-_Crown_Court.pdf ).

If the judge sees the offence as 'Category 3' then a custodial sentence can probably be avoided. However it's possibly more likely that it will be seen as 'Category 2', forcing the judge to pass a custodial sentence.

However sentences not exceeding two years can be suspended, which probably offers you the best chance of avoiding being sent down.

At a guess (and it can be no more than that), based upon around half a century of reading court reports (and having done a small amount of court reporting myself), I think it likely that you'll be sentenced to 18 months imprisonment but with that sentence suspended for two years. (That assumes that you've not already got any convictions for violence; the chances of the sentence being suspended will probably drop considerably if you have).

However it would still be unwise for you to assume that you can avoid prison, so pack a bag for your court appearance anyway.
you might like to read the section beginning on page 7 here - I think this is still current advice

It sounds as though you'd be in category 2.
