I have 18 Ravenhead Kilner storage jars and the metal screw ring tops however I do not have any of the glass lids which sit inside the metal screw tops. I would be grateful for any information on where I may obtain some or indeed what can use instead.

They have these jars on ebay, but failing that, antique centres or boot sales, nodoubt though, someone on ab will find somewhere for you.
Not the answer you're looking for, but if you want them for jam or preserve making and you're desperate for jars and sealable lids, you can obtain them online from www.lakeland.co.uk.   I just tried their website and it's temporarily unobtainable but they're based in the Lake District and Directory Enquiries can probably locate them for you.   i always reuse commercial jam and marmelade jars for my preserves.  Just sterilise the jars in the oven for five minutes first and put the lids with the plastic seal rims in boiling water for a couple of minutes first.  Never had any problems with this method and I reuse them year after year.
ok lakeland is sooooo expensive..personally I got my kilner jars for a fraction of the price from chumleighs..whixh would be the same as replacement lids..maybe get in touch with them

ok here is the site for kilner jars and parts

Which type of jar do you have? I have some glass tops for the original jars pre 1948. I can supply new sealing rings for the post 1948 "improved"jar., and can put you in touch with a supplier for the metal/rubber lid type seals. contact me via www.peterdenyerservices.co.uk/kilner.htm
