7d Porcelain - 'c(arbon)' (in) 'ore' (all in) 'plain'
8d (alter)Natives - "no change" (no 'alter')

Does it mean the clue is terrible :)
Or maybe when you say you are "terrible" at names, for example. That means you haven't a clue.
