Today I bought the above with the idea of making a casserole. (has to be soft and minimum chewing). When I opened them the smell of garlic was overwhelming. Any ideas on how I get rid of the garlic before I cook them?
Yes I know I should have read the label.

The only thing I can think of would be to rinse them in cold water, then dry in several changes of kitchen towel. You probably will not be able to get all the garlic out...but it should be less. It will also dissipate in the cooking.
