I need a help, I was ordered to pay 150 pounds in compensation and victim surcharge, I should pay it by friday last week. However,

I've tried to pay it online on thursday and I need a division code and an account number to do so, but I have the division code the account number is missing! and it should be on the top right side of the "notice of fine and compensation order" and it is not on there! Therefore I contacted the Crown Court friday morning, they said they don't deal with fines and compensation orders, and I should contact the Magistrates Court, so I contacted the Magistrates, informed them about this, and they told me I am not on their system, and I should contact the Crown Court again because I have the notice from them. I contacted the Crown Court again (swichboard this time, not the customer service), and they told me to contact Her Majesty's Courts Service, where I have to pay my compensation too.

They told me that again I am not on their system. However, I should not worry about the fact my first payment should be on friday, and contact them on Wednesday, becasue without the account number I can't pay the compensation & victim surcharge.

I don't know what to do now. Should I speak with my probation office? I am worried I will go to jail for not paying, however it is not my fault, any advice?

Yes, I would do that if I were you - you need it on record that you have tried to pay, and are being passed from one department to another. It doesn't seem right that you weren't given all the details to enable you to pay. Ring the PO in the morning.
This sounds frustrating, Daniel. I assume a standard form has been used- so are you saying the account number box had been left blank? Is there nothing on the form to advise what to do if you can't pay on time? Do all payments have to be online or can you deposit a cheque somewhere. I recall you said somewhere else that you need to pay this at £10 a week.
I found this for Scotland- I'm not sure if it's relevant

They sent me a notice of fine and compensation order, and a little guide how to pay my fine - Internet, 24 hour payment line with the division code.

It says that the account number should be on the right top side of the notice. However, it is not there! There is only a case number, and court code.

I have to use this site:

https://courtfines.direct.gov.uk/courtfines/pages/select.do

Well I will contact PO, I'll see what they say. I am just worried, they will
send my a letter,saying I didn't pay my fine. I know that's frustrating.

Yes I have to pay it £10 a week. It says the payment have to be made to HMCS , £10 per week, first payment in 2 weeks (should be payed last Friday). There is the address of the HMCS. My case no, court code. Also I have the little guide how to pay the fine - Internet, 24 Hour payment line, allpay card etc, there is also the division code which I need in order to pay. However, the account number is not in either the guide or notice, and it says I need account number and division code!
