i have a tdi terrano that idles erratically.nissan daignsed air mass meter problem but �455 later the problem is still not cured. ideas please

I had a terrano once that hunted up and down like a heart beating regular (800rpm to 1200rpms) that turned out to be an injector pump problem and changed complete pump to cure. How erratic is erratic?
