tax credits are paid four weekly
If you meant 'tax rebate' as distinct from 'tax credit', there is no specific date on which HMRC deals with these things - it generally occurs about a week after the HMRC have sent details of their calculation agreeing a debate is due.
I don't really know what a "VAT Rebate" would be?

Do you actually mean a VAT Repayment where a registered trader has more input VAT than output VAT for a particular chargeable period?

If that's what you actually meant then the VAT return is theoretically supposed to be filed within one month of the end of the period and a repayment would follow normally within a week or two maximum.
