Are the CPS liable for wrongly charging me ?

Awhile ago I was charged with,among other things,four counts of 'threats to kill'.It wasn't until after 96 days of HMP accommodation and reading the 'witness' statements for the hundredth time that I realized that three of them never said at that I was going to kill them but still I was charged,any basis for a claim here I wondered ? Thank you.

No. You would have to prove that the police/CPS action was malicious or an abuse of process and from your very brief description this does not seem to be the case.

OK New Judge,but surely the CPS as per the charging codes,review guidelines should have spotted that three of the four 'witnesses' did NOT say I threatened to kill them maybe ?
