I have some very old copies of this magazine. I don't necessarily want to sell them, but who should I approach to see if there is any interest to give them away.

You could try an antiquarian bookshop, or your local auction house?

If you're giving them away, Oxfam bookshops might well be interested.
And you could try a specialist antiquarian book auction house. Bloomsbury Auctions, www.bloomsburyauctions.com ,deal in old books, and magazines such as The Sphere. They are in Maddox Street, W1 (020 74959494) They can certainly give you an idea of value. I have often dealt with them, as a collector, and they are very reputable
