I have been given cause to believe

that a mobile wap site I was on breached my data protection rights by allowing a normal member to pose as a member of the admin staff and allowing him access to personal details of members,is there a governing authority I can lodge a complaint with as the site itself refuses to return any emails I send to them.The site is Kats Klub a mobile adult chat site

thanks for your answer what I forgot to mention is that they are based in Australia so is there an international arm of the ICO or am I protected by them anyway

I think you will find the ICO only deals with UK based companies, check with them.

Kats Club is operated by an Australian company (Loop Mobile Limited) and therefore comes under the authority of the Australian Information Commissioner:

thank you Chris I have been searching the web for info on kats as a company and can find very little on them or Loop Mobile Limited I would appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction also I'm looking into contacting the OAIC with regards to my issue
