Is it possible for the mortgage to be still in joint names, but the ownership of the property to be in my sole name.A recent divorce court order states that the house should be transferred to me but the mortgage company may not accept me as sole motgagee due to my financial position. My ex wife also has a charge on the property of 16,000 pounds according to the court order although no change has been made yet. The house is at present held as tenants in common with the land registry
