....... It is out in the countryside but still fairly close to Stanstead. Are there agents that specifically deal with airline staff? Or would there be someone at Standtead that would deal with that?

Would rather do that than advertise in the local paper.

The major airlines operating out of Stansted are EasyJet and RyanAir (there are others) but I'd be inclined to think more laterally and phone the HR department at BAA, the airport operator of Stansted, since I reckon there are likely to be more opportunities with that line of enquiry. If you look under 'careers' on this link you will see an 0141- phone number for recruitement enquiries. Evidently BAA run their HR department out of Glasgow somewhere (0141-).
