I have somehow registered with Flyebe rewards sceme,but have just received a charge for £14.95, which will be charged to my card account monthly. How can I get out of this - surely this is a scam.

Any help appreciated.

When you say you have "somehow registered" with them does this mean you were not aware that yu had evreistered with them?
Did you give them your card details? What were you led to believe it was for- did you get something in return?
I've seen this racket somewhere else, not sure whether it was when I was booking coach tickets - as treetops' link shows, you are invited to claim a discount. Presumably then they take the £14.95 off the card you have used to pay for with their tickets?
I've read the links now. Cancellation seems pretty straightforward according to their terms and conditions. Do it now.

This is taken from their Ts and Cs:

Q) How long does my membership last?

A) Membership with Rewards First lasts from the time you enrol until the time you inform us that you wish to cancel. There is no minimum term.


7. How do I cancel my membership?

If you would like to cancel your membership, log onto the website and go to "My Account". You can then click where instructed, to discontinue your membership. Please note that this will mean you will no longer have access to any of the discounts which have previously been available to you.

8. Why does it take 24 hours to cancel my membership?

All cancellations are batch processed within our current service standard of 24hours by a department separate from our customer services advisors. This service standard accounts for time differences associated with batch processing.
