is it possible to appeal against a declined mortgage offer due to the surveyor not agreeing with the structural engineers report

because after speaking with the surveyor he told me there was no reason why the offer should of been declined, and the SE report was fine. i have had 4 past surveys on prop and all ok. the surveyor told me he only recommended a SE report to cover his own back and was certain all movement was historic.
Rather than do that, find yourself a new mortgage provider who would be happy to lend based on the Structural Engineers report.

looks like i will have to, just annoying as i have spent £700, also before i instructed the SE i spoke with valuer and said if he said no evidence of further movement will that satisfy you and he said yes, thats when he went on to say he was only doing it to cover his back.
