how important is it that husband and wife both have their names on their house deeds?
Will it make any difference if only the man is on the deeds?

Having your name on the deeds means you own the property (or a share of it).

If only the man is on the deeds then only he owns it

So yes it makes a difference

it makes sense that both names are on it if its a shared property. x thank you
