It's her problem (or the garage's) not yours. IIf she gave your address for a good reason and pays up then it's okay. If she intended to avoid payment then she could be charged with theft I expect

well he did it on the 25th jan i opened the letter by mistake today it was from a solicitors firm he obviously still has his address as this and he moved out 2 months ago!!!!! what do i do!!!!!!!!!!
write back or ring the solicitor and explain the position, its still theft unless he meant to pay you back and even then its dodgy
return to sended saying "moved out on XXX date "
If you know the new address of your ex, inform the solicitors. If the vehicle was registered in his name, he is also legally obliged to inform the DVLC of his change of address.
I would not phone anybody. Do everything in writing and keep copies.
its him who is responsible not his address....so just give them his new address and forget it... you are not responsible just because youu live there
