you may scare your wife, but you won't scare the CPS.

by pleading not guilty you're putting your wife in a position where she might have to give evidence. you're a bully.

and take the CAPS LOCK off.

the question was if she does not give any evidence what are the chances of conviction?
Why not suck it up like a MAN and admit what you've done.

However to answer your question, she does not need to give evidence. The Police, the GP, and all the other parties involved will be able to do it on her behalf. You will still end up getting buggered by the 'bigger boys' in your cell at night

any recent cases in the uk where cps have continued with case when victim does not support prosecution?????????
wakey wakey, mate.. this happens all the time. battered wives are too scared to give evidence, the case proceeds on the basis of the evidence held.

take it on the chin!!!!! its not that simple is it wizard, i dont wanna go to jail and i dont want my future prospects of geeting a job jeorpasided, you may like living on benefits thats why it dont matter for you to take it on the chin
