my son has a plea hearing shortly at Crown Court, he is presently on remand and a family member is willing to stand bail surety, how does it work is a bail request made followed by an application where the surety will be asked to produce bank statements etc, or will the surety have to turn up at the plea hearing with all his financial papers, we are just worried that time is running out and the surety will need time to get his papers esp if it involves mortgage statements / valuations. ???
