Victim of being glassed

Hi,
Me and a few mates were out for one of there birthdays. Whilst in a pub/nightclub i was smashed in the face by a pint glass. The lad was arressted and i was sent to hospital where they had to glue my face. I have about 5 inches of permanent scarring to my face. This is where it gets coplecated, the lad has givern a statement and admitted doing it and that there was no provocation what so ever but when he answered his bail and went to magistrates court for ABH he has pleaded not guilty so it has been sent to Crown Court. What do you think his likely sentence will be? He is employed and has no previous.
