court case soon been in trouble before last year

morning. got a court case coming up Assault police & Drunk & disorderly.. Well i was in court in December last year for drug offence (small amount class A ) got £400 fine. Any one no what i poss could get?? I work hard for a living got 2 childred (which i pay CSA ) I just do,nt know what will happen... Advance Thanks.......

i dont now what ur outcome will be but my sister hit an officer but wasnt drunk she has previouse for drug use and she was given custodial sentence she served 3 weeks
You aren't in a particularly good position here. A previous conviction discounts what will inevitably be your solicitor's primary defence; that defence being that you were drunk and are usually of good character. Previous possession of illegal substances proves that you are not necessarily of good character.

A further barrier to a custodial sentence would have been your commitments as a single parent or carer. You mention that you pay CSA and, as such, I assume that your ex-partner has custody of your children.

Striking an officer is an extremely serious offence. Your previous conviction allied to a lack of parental commitments indicate that a custodial sentence is almost a certainty.
