I made an Assured Short hold Tenancy agreement in September that would end in June. However, in winter my accommodation was not comfortable at all, I was freezing. Therefore in December I asked from the landlord to leave and look for another accommodation. He was really nice he agreed that I could leave even if we would find somebody else that wouldn’t replace me for the whole time up to June. However all this was in words only. Eventually we found someone to stay until April. However, now in February he is asking me to go back in April and stay there until June because the room will be empty again. However since January I have been staying at the new residence where the agreement is ending in June. So I wonder if really need to move at the previous accommodation or not? Or pay the rent for the previous accommodation as well for April, May, and June? Because my understanding was that I was released by the contact depending on our verbal communication. And its impossible for me to pay rent for both accommodations.
