Hi,I am currently in the Newcastle
I would like to know what I needed to know to cycle in newcastle(or UK)
anything that I have to notice to prevent offencing the law

You will be ok cycling in Newcastle bonnie lad, just remember to wear your helmet, and visible gear, because most car drivers in the city are p*llocks.Seriously do be careful the roads are busy especially first thing and at around 5 to 6 pm in the evenings.

You should also have front/rear lights and a bell fitted & working.

From an information centre in the city, you should be able to get info on specific cycle routes around Newcastle , the are organised by an organisation called Sustrans.
