Economy 7 Boiler

I have an economy 7 boiler and it broke on Thursday Last week, it was totally burnt out and we have just had a new boiler fitted yesterday. My Electric Bill came today, I live in a 2 bed flat and the heating is rarely on and it is �460.00! (its usually about �100) for 3 months. Will the fact that my boiler broke have effected the electric bill?
