My mother has been a sitting tennant for almost 50 years in a bungalow. She is not in the best of health and needs a lot of care now. If I move in and look after her for the rest of her life, Should she pass away, will I be able to carry on living there?

need to now more about the tenancy. Is it private or local authority as succession rights usually only apply to LA tenants
On what kind of terms does she occupy the bungalow on?

Does she have a protected tenancy for her life and, if so, does if extend to spouses or offspring (maybe up to a certain age).

This should give some more info on protected tenancies.
