I want build a garden fence.

Does the height of my garden fence have to be 2 metres from my side of my neighbours?, they are lower down.

Unless you live in a conservation area or your house is listed, it is permitted development to erect a boundary fence/wall upto 2 meters high. If you go higher you will require planning permission.
