My Ex- partner has a large number of outstanding debts some of which are now CCJ's. Her predicament was being dealt with by a debt management company.
I have just recently paid her a large lump sum of money as part of an out of court financial settlement.
Will the creditors be made a aware of this that her circumstances have changed or will she just get away paying a fiver a month to each ?

we are also with an IVA and in your agreement you have to notify them of any change in circumstances. if you don't and they find out ie through her bank (as they do have her details) they can throw her off her payment plan and force her to pay the full amount as she has defaulted her agreement bye keeping info................ if you know who her debtors are i would ring them yourself.aslong as your settlement was through court then there is no comeback on you as you have paid your share.
She may be in a debt management plan but not in an IVA. If so, there is no requirement for creditors or the debt management company to be told unless there is something in her contract with the company about this. However, it might be difficult to enforce any such provision - probably all that would happen is that the company would cease to act for her if they found out she had received money and not put it towards paying the debts.
