Double Yelow Lines

I have just started a new job as driver courier, delivering pharmacuticals, ive been told by my employer that i am allowed to park on double yellow lines for 20 mins but not if there is a yellow line on the kerb is this true. Thank you.

Print this off - keep it with you - invest in a Highway code keep that with you and you'll be tooled up for the job. Make a sign saying - Please Mr Traffic Warden - I'm going to be here for 10 mins max - loading/delivering urgent medical supplies and keep that in your window at all times.

Always check every where you park and never assume one place is the same as another.

Stick with these rules and you wont go far wrong.

2 yellow lines on the actual kerb are usually situated near corners. You will get booked no matter who or what you are.
