if you have your own site can you sell copied cd's or is it against the coprights laws?
also can you sell old unwanted stuff of yours such as dvd's etc

By all means sell things you no longer need but you cannot sell copied or pirated cd's, software ,DVD's etc. legally !!
As soon as you make a copy of a CD, etc (even if it's solely for your own use), you're committing a civil offence for which (theoretically at least) you can be sued. However, if you then sell such a copy, you're committing a criminal offence for which you can be fined or imprisoned.

If your 'unwanted stuff' includes computer software, you can't legally sell the disks unless you've uninstalled the programs from your own PC first.
