What does one need to do to ensure a Power of Attorney to be used overseas (Mauritius) is valid in that country?

Unfortunately I don't know the answer but if you contact their Consulate in this country they may be able to help you.

English Law P of A probably invalid in non-common law jurisdictions.
Or did you mean to have a P of A executed abroad but relating to a property in this country?
