Just watching Masterchef (the competitors are at three star restaurants) and they are spending ages faffing about with the food, how do they get the food out to the customers without it going cold?
Lard, you should have told me you had a spoiler, now my viewing pleasure is ruined (not).
Ummmm - I am a really slow eater and if we eat out I try to choose cold foods as by the time I have dished out ketchup, cut up food, etc mine is bloody old anyway.
On that note - I'll just go and make myself a snack - cheese & biscuits, with a lemongrass foam & mange tout jus, celeriac teardrops & chips (all facing the same way) of course
It is a staged show not a documentary they do rehearsals . I remember a comment from one contestant a while back, they filmed him putting his white jacket 5 times until they got it right. I wouldn't be surprised to find they actually make several lots of each dish to get the filming right. It is presented as a straight contest but there is a lot of editing and refilming.
