I am a qualified teacher and looking to change my career. I have always been interested in studying to become a midwife and now I am thinking about doing a degree course in midwifery. Does anyone have any experience of the degree course or indeed the job role? Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks :)

Firstly I’m not a midwife and have no desire to be one, but this it’s one of the most undervalued jobs within the medical profession and I admire anyone who wants to do this job.

Had a bit of a scout around and got a couple of links that may be of use in giving some basic information.

Hope you find them useful. You could always get in touch with your local maternity unit and ask their advise.
