Not as part of the TUPE process - which assures that you transfer on the same (or broadly similar conditions and that includes salary.
However having become an employer of 'newco' there is nothing to prevent the employer starting up a consultation period on changing T&Cs, subject to the employees being given contractual notice of the change.
My salary and annual leave actually went up when I moved to another company via TUPE. The salary only by a couple of hundred a year (but every penny counts!) - to tie in with their salary scales - and the leave by 7 days a year, which was nice :D
Just wanted to let you know that going through the TUPE process isn't always negative.
As per buildersmate's response though, this was agreed following consultation.
