Should I wear a suit jacket for an interview at a recruitment agency or would a shirt and tie be sufficient?

Me i think, if you have one, wearing the jacket couldn't hurt in the UK...its not like we are having a heatwave or something.
I'd go full suit mate. It'll never hurt your chances, and (as woofgang says) it isn't exactly the Saudi desert out side at the moment anyway
Jacket, or a suit.
if its a recruitment agency and not an actual job interview shirt and tie will be fine
Id wear a suit, it cant hurt your chances
Suit.

DC_FC....what team?
TTG, derby county fc
You are effectively their client. Wear what you want.
smart but casual trousers shirt minus the tie
Count A Strong, they will know what the firms they place people with want/expect and IMO will want to see how you will present yourself to an employer. Their ability to place people will depend a great deal on the quality of people who they send...firms wont go to agencies who send them people they can't/won't employ. I still say if you are going for a white collar job or something in hospitality then dress smartly. If its something in the creative sector then perhaps a bit more leeway to be more individual in your dress.
lets face it, today's job market is not that great, why would you do anything to spoil your chances?
I'm with wolfgang, dress for the job you want.
You'll never regret dressing smartly (shirt, tie, jacket) but you may regret dressing down. Don't take the chance.
