Tips for Secondry School appeal

I will be attending an appeal soon, where a panel of people will interview me, is there any preparation I can do before that will help, Im desperate to get my child into that secondry school. Thanks

Make a list of the reasons your child MUST go to that scool and take it with you, and treat it like a job interveiw eg: dress smart, don't slouch ect

can you give a few more reasons why you want to get your child into that school as opposed to the school offered. I have won 4 secondary school appeals and will try to give some guidance with a few more facts x

The school offered is a good one but not as good as the one we are appealing for and none of her friends are going, also we are in the process of buying a house 2 mins from school Im just praying nothing goes wrong and the paperwork will be done in time for the appeal. The school has recently had an excellent ofstead and has an excellent reputation!

Find out which child you would like thrown out of the one you are appealing to attend and ask the shcool to kick them out. Obviously you will also need to make sure you are top of the list.

Why has your child been refused a place?

You need to identify why that school is the best fit for your child, and why your child is a good fit for the school.

What is the school known for? I.e is it particulalrly proud of its music, art, science, technocolgy etc. And then demonstrate why your child particularly fits with that. So evidence that your child would benefit from that speciality. ie.If they are v musical and its a musical school.

Its showing beyond any doubt that your child fits that school above other schools.
