Ive recently been helping out with our local am dram society working with the children teaching them how to dance and am thinking of qualifying as a teacher.
I had dance lessons at a reputable dance college and passed my intermediate exams in tap and modern and elementary in Ballet (all ISTD).
I believe that the ISTD have now reorganised their senior exams and no longer do an Associate certificate. Does anyone know if I would still get credit for the exams I have passed and how would I go about qualifying through the ISTD? Does anyone know how you qualify through the IDTA and would they give credit for ISTD major exams?
