My wife works part time, I have a couple of thousand pounds savings, and I was wondering how much I could expect in student finance as a mature student, with break downs of loans/grants/busaries. Ball park figures are all I'm after. Also anyones experiencesof returning to Uniat 36yrs old to train for 4 years to become a teacher. Thank you for your time and comments.

Have you got a place yet? My friend will be completing her BA in English, Maths and Politics from Oxford this year and has already been told that the teacher training course she wants is giving priority to applicants with Masters because of the huge number of applicants.

It was rough ideas, and peoples experiences I was interested in. Thanks though Ethal. x
