freelance hairdresser...help

I am a hairdresser and have 13 years experience and have decided to go freelance, only thing is i have no qualifications due to a muck up at the college i was at years ago, i trained for 2 yrs but have no formal qualifications! i need to get liability insurance but they are all asking proof of qualification, is experience enough or not? does anybody know?

Freelancing should have PLInsurance in case you are sued for ur own protection.....don't want to lose your car/home 'cause you snipped an ear when client moved.

You can do a diploma course at Wella/L'Oreal/T&Gs etc (google them).
