Are nursing students legally allowed to insert airways?
I know some people allow them to but are they actually allowed?

Thanks

Hi,

I wouldn't have thought so, my understanding of this procedure should only be done by a Dr / Anaethetist / Paramedic or a Specialist Nurse.

i did as a student under the supervision of a qualified person, which you should have at all times anyway, its their registration which is on the line.
check with your school of nursing if you have any concerns
