my 17 yr old daughter is doing media studies at college and wants to do some works experience in television how does she go about it any suggestions?

she could write to her local tv station (ie local news) which are always based close by, she could also ask the careers person at the college.

If it were me I would research all the television/film companies and write them letters with a cover letter from the college.
