Anybody know the number to call of the home office to get an APPOINTMENT FOR VISA EXTENSION in the uk?

I know that for extension of student visa you can do it either by post or in person. Its not for me but my friend needs to have it done in person which is a lot more expensive, but takes less time, as she needs to go abroad and take her passport.

You can't get visa extensions in the UK as visas have to be applied for out of country. Your friend can put in a further leave to remain application but leaving the country while it is pending may void it.
