My work place has set up a social committee. each member of the staff has contributed five pounds in order to create afund to be used for flowers for illness, preganacy etc. management also put in a total of �200 from official funds: this is not really an option for the committee. The management have requested that the committee produce a written constitution. Is this necessary and what are the legal consequences of having/ not having one?
