Hi, I am about to start a new job with a company car, do you have any idea of roughly what my new tax code would be so I can work out how much I will be paying extra?

Thanks

It depends on the CO2 emissions figure for the car, its list rice and whether or not you will be receiving private fuel.
Do you know what car you will be getting?
that should be list Price of course!
I have a company car, got it at around this time last year and unfortunately the tax office has made a right mess of my tax. I don't get private fuel paid for, the list price is around 19K and CO2 emmisions are around 148.

Initially my tax code was 261L (or something similar). The tax office has just reduced it 196L (or something like that) as, due to getting the car in August, I had underpaid a couple of months, so prepare yourself!
