depends how big they are.
yes !!!!!
Not necessarily.
Depends on the severity of the decelaration - hitting a tree would decelerate the car quicker than hitting another car and would make it more likely the system would fire hitting the tree - then again, they are electronic and as such are prone to failure and not guaranteed to work.
hope so if they didnt I am going to bin mine
Converted to MPH equates to 50 MPH. One would expect a deployment of the air-bag/s. There's a lot of equations that go into deployment and not that simple to work out to the layman. But , and roughly speaking, a 14 mph facial (frontal) barrier collision is equivalent to striking a parked car of similar size across the full front of each vehicle at about 28 mph. To hit a stationery object at 80 KPH (even if well on the brakes at the point of collision) one would expect deployment ... without a doubt.
Did you suffer an injury that would have been avoided if the airbag was deployed? If not, then that would suggest that the deceleration force was not sufficient to require them. They are an expensive item to replace, and can themselves cause injury - you don't want them going off when they are not necessary....
Yes they really should have, I think you should get that checked. Hope all invovled in the crash are ok. xXx
if they didn go off...are you sure thata there are airbags in the car?if there are then ur car is ****** up
