Hi, does anybody happen to know what marks (percentage) needs to be attained in order to obtain a Grade A and also a Grade B in Scottish Highers? I have tried the SQA website but no luck so far!

It varies widely from subject to subjact and also from year to year.

On the SQA website choose a subject. Then look for Principal Assessors reports. These contain the cut-offs used for grading.

Gef, I actually managed to find a table on SQA website stating an A was 70-100% and a B was 60-70%. Is this incorrect then?
Hi ali,

As I said earlier it varies from subject to subject and year to year.

For example, if you click on the link below and scroll down to page 6 you will see that 78% was needed for an A pass in Higher chemistry in 2006.
