Can anyone suggest a good, general, website for searching for a job? There are that many, its hard to know where to start and what is good. Also, a good site for posting your c.v on? Thanks.

type job centre plus in to google.

also you can post your CV on monster however, i dont think its worth it as I got people offering me jobs and services that had nothing to do with my qualifications.

good luck

Thanks. Was really looking for independant sites besides job-centre plus, as they never seem to have any decent jobs on there!:-)
Hi, i saw this website advertised on TV a while back:

www.moster.co.uk

Regards

ss
sorry spelling istake

www.monster.co.uk
LOL!!

It was meant to say 'Mistake'!!!

Sorry about that Sammylad
I got my job through Monster as my employer spotted my CV (I hadn't applied for any jobs). I would recommend at least adding your CV as it's free (and just be prepared for a few junky knd of offers).

I also used totaljobs and topjobs. There are loads on the internet. Try Reed.co.uk too, they are a huge national firm. Think friends reunited also have a job section. There were tones of jobs on there when Iooked.

Good luck!!!
depends on your field but hopefully these will help. You can post your CV on most sites these days

www.totaljobs.co.uk

www.reed.co.uk

www.fish4jobs.co.uk

www.thisislondon.co.uk

http://www.uknetguide.co.uk/Employment/Jobs/

www.monster.co.uk
(def worth registering I got my last job through there)
