employing hairdressers?

i have a barber shop but im expanding into womans hairdressing,does anyone know how much to charge when renting chairs,and are they responsible for buying the stock ie tints colours perm lotion and such.

I live in Herts renting a chair is �250.00pw.
They buy all their own stock, and do their own ordering.
They also still pay rent when on holiday.
You could make an allowance when they first start up.Till they build up a clientel.

�250.00 p/w,god,where i am in scotland the most expensive ive heard is �175 p/w,thanks sandra i intend to come and go a wee bit when i start up but once its biult up i intend to charge �125 p/w,i have 3 chairs to rent so i wold be happy to get that per chair as i still have the thriving barber shop side of things too,thanks again sandra
