do i get paid for hospital appointments

i work full time and i have used up all my sick days whilst having treatment for cancer.i still have to attend regular hospital appointments and now work are saying that i wont get paid because my sick days are used up.
am i entitled to get paid for my appointments?

I am afraid that you are not entitled to be paid for any time when you are not at work. Have you got any holiday entitlement left.. You may be able to use those up for it instead.

It depends on your contract. Civil servants and others in the public sector usually are entitled to take time off for medical appointments with pay.
